View Full Version : [ubuntu] 11.10 Unity: Other partitions not mounted

I've bitten the bullet and upgraded from 10.10 to 11.04 then 11.10 with Unity.
I'm getting to quite like Unity.
My laptop is dual boot XP and Ubuntu and has the partitioning shown in the image below.
With 10.10 Find files showed all partitions having presumably mounted the not Ubuntu ones and I was able to view, update and write files in the NTFS partitions.
How may I do this with 11.10 and Unity please?

After trying things out this is how I mounted and viewed my XP partition contents:

Dash home and type "Disk utility" (as search and without the quotes)

Click Disk Utility icon
http://www.winchesternw.org.uk/m2.png

Click Hard Disk

To mount XP volume click it then click Mount Volume

http://www.winchesternw.org.uk/m3.png

XP will appear in the Launcher

Click its (hard drive) icon to see content
