Help!
Trying to get a Xerox Phaser 3200mfp scaner/printer/copier installed on a Ubu system (11.04)
This is a build I did on my neighbors system (I run LM and Ubu) and a printer they picked up cheap (and my worries)
Ubu sees the printer, installs a driver but then spews out garbage on test prints, and any job sent to print.
I d/l'd the linux driver from Xerox and installed I have attached a screen shot of the install on my LM machine, I did the same thing on the Ubu system.

Now when I restart the Ubu system the machine halts and I get 3 lines on the screen
*checking battery state.... {ok]
*stopping system v runlevel compatibility [ok]
*starting CUPS printing spooler/server [ok]
So its a multi level question. 1) Help on the stuck restart 2) help getting this dang printer to work.
