Whenever I enter the command "sudo halt" on my laptop it begins to shutdown, but once the screen goes black/fills with code the boot up screen begins to load simultaenously, and then my pc just freezes. However, If I enter the "sudo shutdown -h 0" command my pc shutsdown without a proble. The solution is simple, just use the latter, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and if there was a way to fix it?

Also, has anyone esle had trouble with the chromium browser returning an error msg "Error 105"? I think its DNS related but I noticed my other pc's browser worked just fine when I tried ie. Basically, I couldn't get online for about 5 min when I did infact ahve a secure connection.

I don't have a fix.. just letting you know I just "upgraded" to 12.04 LTS on my HP 5103 Netbook and I am having the same issue with freezing when using sudo halt.
