Hi,

I download ubuntu from link here:

http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/hardware/201104-7889

Can i install this version in 1 hdd but with 2 partition? Last time i want to install, it's hanging.

It's not like previous version. The old version can be install along with windows os. Did i make mistake? From what i know, i need to create free space for ubuntu along with windows os.

Any idea why i cannot install along with windows like old version? Does anyone have experience like me? Please share here.

Thanks.

The link on that page takes you to the standard 11.10 distribution, so nothing special or different about it.

Yes, absolutely.

What does it say when it hangs? What happens just before the hang?

This version can also be installed along with windows.

Yes, the easiest way is to first install windows in one partition, and leave the rest of the disk unpartitioned (as free space) that the ubuntu installer will then use.

We are going to need more information about the specific problem you are running into.
