Maybe im missing it, but in the past ive found cool release date flyers to hang up. Am I just missing the links? Im talking about canical supported flyers, but at this point id be open to community supported also. Am I missing something? Has precise marketing been weak for this release? (I think so since I cant find anything.... And this is a long term release, they should be pushing this like sugar loaded cereal to kids).

Ps. The grammatical & spelling errors are because posted from touch screen phone + trying to keep short. So sorry if tough to read.

I don't know if there are any "official" posters, but a great resource for that sort of thing and for Ubuntu promo stuff in general is the Spread Ubuntu site:

Thanks... I'll check that out. But it still is crazy I cant easily "google" something I should be easily to market. When 11.10 (im a numbers guy) came out there was that wierd countdown/flyer thing going on to help drive popularity.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I love exploring how different orgs use SEM so I tried this search:
http://www.google.com/search?q=countdown+ubuntu+12.04

Turns out the first link is to this handy page, complete with HTML countdown timers:
http://www.ubuntu.com/community/countdown

What terms did you search for?

Thanks,
I've found the countdown banners before, but it's not exactly what i was looking for. All i was looking for was a cool ".pdf" flyer i could print some color copies off and hand them up around. Basically i was looking for some cool artwork that i could hang up to help promote the new release and also annoy the people i work with around the office.

The html countdown timer are a good "web" presence, but i was searching for the old school paper type of marketing that i could hang up. But i think i could make the html banners work, and it looks like the spreadubuntu.org site has some cool stuff that will work. Thanks for help and the info guys.

My "googl-fu" as i recently heard/read the phrase somewhere must be out of whack.
