View Full Version : [SOLVED] CONKY - need links for nmap script for conky

hi

I am trying to install conky following this video here

But the links mentioned in are not working, tried to google some links but all of them return with Internal server error or an exception error. any alternative download link please????????

you can install it from the repos with

sudo apt-get install conky-allor you can download it from here (http://conky.sourceforge.net/) (it's on the right of the page)

more specifically i need the "nmap.pl" script file

ive already installed the conky, what i need is the nmap script file

ok here what i have reached so far, i see the conky but its not according to the resolution of my screen (see screenshots)

here what i followed:
installed conky from package manager
installed poky fonts
installed the clock script

created a foolder named "conky" in home.
the .conkyrc file resides in /home and /home/.conkyrc (leme knw if this is right?)
when i try to change the line in .conkyrc file for resolution i.e goto 1100 to goto 1500 and save it. this does not reflect on the screen.
ANY IDEA WHY?

ALSO, i loose my ubunut desltop icons when conky is on :( what that about ??
