Into recovery mode from GRUB?

I used to start my computer, options will come out to choose . recovery was one of them

If you are not getting the GRUB menu, that's just the default condition when you haven't updated GRUB (if you dual boot, for instance.) The GRUB timeout defaults to 0.

Next time you boot, just before the BIOS gets finished, press and hold the space bar down and the grub menu should be displayed.

Select recovery as you are used to.
