i hv installed wine but still not able to run .exe file on ubuntu

Please be more specific! WHAT program are your trying to run, HOW did you attempt to run it, etc.

Also, Wine does not work on all Windows programs. Some work fine, some don't. Have you checked the Wine App Database (http://appdb.winehq.org/) for compatibility reports on the specific program you are trying to run?
