apt-build

Could any one tell me if apt-build automatically searches for newer sources after it has compiled and installed packages? I ran apt-build update/upgrade and I think it finished the upgrade then automatically updated and started upgrading again.

I've read that page and it says it update the repositories on every time started but not whether it does it again after it installs the packages. I ran 'apt-build update' then 'apt-build upgrade',and I *THINK* that it finished upgrading and then started over doing it again. Would not be a problem on a stable 11.10 but I am using 12.04, so if it is doing the auto thing till it can't upgrade no more it will probably be a while before it is done(read weeks) since the repositories are changing fast right now and it takes so long to compile the sources of the large packages.
