Hi all, I've been running Ubuntu 10.10 for quite sometime, but now I'm being told "You're stuffed -Upgrade" Perhaps not quite in those words :) I've decided to keep 10.10, because of all the PPA's etc, and install on my second HDD making the change over smoother. Now, if I may, I have a couple of questions:- 1. Why is Ubuntu 11.10 32bit recommended? Is there still problems with 64bit? (I would prefer 64) 2. As this is a gradual change over, would it be better to go straight to the very new 12.04LTS 64bit, bearing in mind it's still in beta but offers long term support. I don't like to keep changing. Getting to old. I used to run Debian unstable for years and loved it so I know some of the pitfalls. Many thanks for any help.
