Nah not in a long while. I work so many hours these days between work and family time, I barely get time to stop around here and say hi as it is. LOL took me 2 1/2 weeks to get Conky set back up on my system after updating which shouldnt have taken 2 hours tops..

I would pick D. It is not animated, too!

I've seen C.) used in another forum (thought slower than that one).

*IF* we were allowed animated gifs, I would say "A", "C" then "E". "B" is too fast to be discernable.

From wiki.ubuntu.com/ForumsFAQ:

Why can't I use an animated gif as my avatar?
In the past (up to sometime near the end of 2005) users were allowed to use animated gifs as avatars. This ended when there was a sudden wave of really distracting and obnoxious flashing, gaudy avatars. Rather than make a long list of what is an isn't acceptable for animated avatar usage and then forcing the staff to monitor and police their use it was decided that they would be banned altogether. Those users who had appropriate animated avatars at the time were allowed to keep them and so you may see a small number of them floating around the forums. If/when those users decide to change their avatars they will not be allowed to replace the current animated gifs with another animated avatar but will have to choose an regular non-moving picture like the rest of us.

UM, I don't think so.

Look at the version attached that shows the left side of the GIF. It shows more of the animation as well. I think it is a joke about the frustration of having to use the terminal commands a lot in Linux; although, that has not been the case in a few years. :)

Even if you could use it as an avatar, it may not be the best thing to use on a Linux forum. :)

Because gifs are irritating ..And the ones you selected are especially irritating. I don't like the ugly badly drawn meme balloon face either.
