Mark usually announces within a month of a release.

Whatever it is it'll be quixotic. Probably a quail.

Quixotic quail. You heard it here first. :)

I'm also going for Raffish Roach for 13.04 and a Spiffy something for 13.10.

I was under the impression the name would get announced at UDS (if memory serves that was where Precise got its name).

No, it gets announced before UDS so appropriate t-shirts, conference signage, etc. can be ordered.

Even more so, it has to be announced before the new archives open. Precise opened within hours of Oneiric's release. Therefore, the new codename should be announced within the next week or so.

Shouldn't be too much longer, there must be plenty of incredibly obscure and/or unpronounceable words starting with Q for Mark to choose from.
