Unity, Mouse Buttons + Terminal Launch

Hey folks!

My mouse has several buttons (>3) and I was thinking that it would be very, very handy to launch a console/terminal by pressing any of the thumb-buttons. Could such a thing be configured with unity?

If you are using regular Unity, thus with Compiz as the window manager, you can use its "Commands" plugin for that. Therefore, you need CompizConfig Settings Manager, as always. And the command for the default terminal emulator is "gnome-terminal", of course.
