Ok... I am really new to this forum--as in this is the first post--but definitely not new to Linux. I'd be interested to know if there are any Richards Bay users out there!
I made my first single-boot--and relegated Windows to a VM--when a Mint CD ver 3 packaged as a freebie arrived on my desk. However shortly after the Mint 12 release I decided to move over to the dark, umm... purple side. I decided to try Ubuntu after the debacle with gnome3 shell and then cinnamon... but 'nuff said. I had about two weeks with 11.10 and the last two weeks with 12.04. I am pleasantly surprised at how well this Unity interface works. I might just have to try Unity on Mint... just for fun!
