A man who achieved a great deal in his life, and also enabled many millions
of people to get their first taste of computers , gaming and more
importantly programming.
He could be justifiably proud of all he achieved.

I think I knew the Commodore Programmer's Reference Guide inside and out. I loved the fact that it taught Assembly as well as BASIC.

Unfortunatly I'm a little on the young side to have experience that, but I can still recognize that if it wasn't for those early developers I probably wouldn't be the nerd I am today.
Rest in peace, and enjoy programming in the afterlife!

Today we have lost a legend. Without his efforts many of us may not be here today. RIP Jack.. :(

I don't ever remember the Assembly instructions in the Commodore 64 guide. Is there a copy of this manual still floating around?

Rest in peace, Jack.
But I still remember what they put into one of the versions of Amiga OS when you'd repeatedly right-click the menu bar at the top of the screen... ;)

If they had used POKES and PEEKS they could have had unlimited lives ;-)
For those who get that reference of course
RIP to all the amazing people IT has lost of late.
