Hello,
I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 and the Synaptic Package Manager. I searched in Synaptc for the "MythTV-Backend" and checked the box to mark for install. It said that dependencies were not met:
"mythtv-backend:
Depends: mythtv-transcode-utils but it is not going to be installed"
I've ensured the the repositories are included as follows:
ppa.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/0.24/ubuntu oneric main
ppa.launchpad/mythbuntu/testing/ubuntu onerci main
I'd like to get the backend up and running as a server for a Hauppauge media server. I do appreciate the help.
