Need a sleep timer

Hi All,

I'm looking for some assistance writing a sleep timer for my HTPC box.

Imagine your TV at home, i want to replicate it.

Pressing a button on the remote, executes a script with irexec starting the sleep timer at 30min say.
Hitting the button again, increments the timer by 30mins further.

Can anyone provide some assistance?
