Change Fuction in Js File Gnome Shell Extension

I have changed an function in gnome-shell in one of the js files.

Could i make an extension that replaces this function in gnome shell so i can publish it?

Lack of answers would seem to indicate that nobody knows. I suggest searching for some more gnome-shell specific web sites, user groups, forums, newsgroups, mailing lists, and/or the like where there are more knowledgeable people who can help you.

At face value without knowing the specifics, I would say yes. How? No idea. Hence my suggestion above.
