This ASUS laptop Model X54C has a built in webcam.
This is new to me. Never used one on any laptop before but in works good on the Windows side.

Just setup a dual boot with Ubuntu 11.04 and the question is, what is the best and hopefully easiest program to use the webcam for with Linux?

That really depends on what you would like to do. If you would like to have video-conversations you can do it with Skype. If you just would like to see yourself I suggest you search for "webcam" in the Software Center for some suitable applications. Cheese or Wxcam are some good options.
