Hello, so this is kinda my first time using Linux OS. I had originally installed Joli OS on my computer. But I realized that this is not what I want and I'm having a hard time installing it. I already have the ISO file.

use Unetbootin or similar programme to put the ISO on a USB key (or burn the image to a CD) and then boot from USB key and select install. during install reformat and overwrite the whole disk.

okay, I tried that and it doesn't work. I downloaded the unetbootin-linux-568 file but it won't open...

Install unetbootin with
sudo apt-get install unetbootin not the way you tried.

Haha, so I did that and now I feel like an even bigger idiot... How do I open Unetbootin?

Edit: Wait never mind...
