I´m currently learning German, and besides all the books and audiobooks i´m already studying, one thing i miss is apps to complement my learning.
I´m looking for something like a dictionary for Ubuntu and Android that i can use to quickly translate a word and also read it out loud (so i can prononunce it easily).
Anyone has any suggestions?

I have not used this software yet but it seems to pretty much fit in with what you are asking for:
http://goldendict.org/
You can install it via the Software Centre then follow the links on their website to acquire the necessary German dictionary/language files.
Hope this helps.

The app looks great, but i´m having difficulty getting dictionaries using their instructions (which seem kinda outdated).
If someone has any input for sources which aren´t in Russian i would appreciate.

The GoldenDict software was used by a former colleague of mine, admittedly he was Ukrainian and was trying to improve his English.
I did find these though which might be of some use to you:

Hope it helps.
