View Full Version : [xfce] xfce displays wrong colors

i have installed xubuntu 12.04 64bit, after install it was yust like i wanted, but after a bunch of updates the blue background displays as a strange brownish and all window colors got a strange distorted color.

i tryd changing wallpaper, rebooting, but still the same. in xubuntu 11.10 i didnt have this weird problem. my system is a dell vostro laptop with dell integrated graphics.

ubuntu 12.04 didnt had this.

Got a screenshot?

The output of

cat /var/log/apt/history.log
might be helpful as well.

i uninstalled xubuntu and will stick with unity, after a night of sleep and comparing unity and xfce i must be crazy, but i begin to like unity a lot, so now im uninstalling xubuntu and installing ubuntu as the sole o.s.
opening my mind and giving it a second chance i realy like it, im writing this now from the live ubuntu 12.04 cd that im now installing
