Everytime I update my Ubuntu 10.04 LTS it adds a new "option" to the dual boot screen; ie.: Linux 2.6.32-39-generic , Linux 2.6.32-39-generic (recovery mode) , Linux 2.6.32-38-generic , Linux 2.6.32-38-generic (recovery mode) , etc.
See screenshot. How do I fix this?

Thanks

Hi hank22077.

You can use synaptic to remove/uninstall old kernels. It would be a good idea to keep at least one old, though.

Check this article (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/07/kernel-entries-gone/)(video included) for the details on how to do it.

Regards.
