It's true.
Thanks to everyone who helped me out when I seriously messed up my computer.
I don't know what I would do without forums to be honest.

And I'm learning, what coudl be better!

i have been really happy with the forums as well. the ubuntu community is our greatest asset!

The thing that kept sending me back to Windows was that at the time, the only help I could get was from a handful of long-time acquaintances in an IRC channel; although they never minded helping, they weren't always available.

I had a few problems with Ubuntu, but fixing them was as simple as typing in a search-engine friendly query in the forum's search box.

With over 1 million posts, and nearly 1k people on at any given time, I'm confident that I'll be able to fix any problems I come across, and learn a great deal about Linux.
