11.10 brought a lot of new stuff. Some good, and some Bad. Even Gnome 3 has taken a turn for the weird by removing features instead of adding them

Anyways, the one thing that I really dislike is the osx-style terminal: UXterm/XTerm. It doesn't have any of the features that were found in the old one (from 10.04). You can't even right click!

How/where can I get the original one with profiles, different fonts, colors & backgrounds, etc?

Ignore that.. cerebral flatuance....heres my question:
where can I find the Synaptic Package Manager program that used to be in System->Administrator on 10.04?
and how can I remove a shortcut from the stupid gnome 3 toolbar? It only lets my drag it around, and right clicking only gives two options: Launch/Properties

You should find it in the Software Centre or you can install it with the following command in a terminal - sudo apt-get install synaptic.
