Hello All,
I have installed Ubuntu 10.04 in dell server and installed proftpd for ftp server. Everything running great but when I tried to put files back to ftp server some chinese filename has funny characters. When again try to copy same file again the window explorer message ask me to override the file and it gives the right chinese name. After I clicked yes it copy the file and the name displayed is correct but when I press F5 it change back to garbage. I can rename the garbage name to correct chinese name in the ftp. But when again try to copy it does not override that file but create another garbage looking file name. It seems like some kind of encoding problem. Can you help me. This is ftp server so don't have gui. Thanks in advance.
