I like the ability to quickly tell one of my windows to take up half the screen, either on the left or the right. Top or bottom is nice too but not as nice as left or right.
In the past with unity I could pull the window over to the left side of the monitor or to the right side. As a result the window would take up the entire left half of the screen, or the entire right half of the screen.
Now when I try that it does nothing, when I drop the window it remains the same size where ever I dragged and dropped it.
I also found documentation saying that I could use ctrl - alt 4 for the righ side and likewise 6, 8, and 2. But none of those work for me.
Was this feature removed?
