Hello, I just Installed Lubuntu in my HDD but after reboot it didn't give me the options to choose which OS I would choose, it just starts Win XP as if it were the only one OS there.

I have the XP in NTFS Partition, Lubuntu in an EXT3 partiton and Swap Partition of 750Mb.

I installed Lubuntu from Live USB created with Lubuntu 11.10 image and Linux Live USB Creator, it seemed to perform correctly and installation was succesful.

What could I do?
Could this be Grub2 is missing?

In another topic if I like Lubuntu and buy a HDD just for it ¿how should I Uninstall? I've read problems about PC's with booting problems after reformating Linux partitions.

Solution Follow these instructions https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

Can you try pressing the SHIFT key as soon as your computer boots, as well as posting a screenshot of XP's disk utility to see if it is actually partitioned.

Thank you!

PS If you could manage it, the boot info script output (http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/) would be very helpful.

Tanks, the shift key didn't do anything, but I installed Boot Repair package in my Live USB and it solved the problem.
