View Full Version : [ubuntu] gnome panels are missing and unity 3d cannot be opened

hello,
i'm pretty new to ubuntu ,
lastly i installed intel graphics drivers using

$ sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 8844C542
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgradeafter restarting gnome i cant see the top panel and also the cairo-dock ,while tryin to open unity 3d all i get after entering the password is the same user selection screen.Also the startup time for loading the gnome/unity 2d is very long. thanks for the help :p
