Hi
regarding ubuntu mini.iso
in the middle on the installation you can choose what to actually install...
is there an explanation for the packages ?
btw - there is an option to install xfce if i remember correct
so its ab ubuntu iso
but if i'll install xfce its going to be more like xubuntu bo? :p

no. there a 2 packages. XFCE something and Xubuntu-desktop.

XFCE installs XFCE only while Xubuntu-desktop all other programmes and stuff you might not need or want.
