I have searched a lot but could not find current distros which are based on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. So I am posting here and request the community to kindly inform me these distros. :)

Distrowatch.com has a nifty Search feature:

http://distrowatch.com/search.php?ostype=All&category=All&origin=All&basedon=Ubuntu&notbasedon=None&desktop=All&architecture=All&status=Active

84 active, Ubuntu-based distros. You'll have to do more research to find which are specifically based on 10.04.

Hi icett.

Take a look at Bodhi (http://www.bodhilinux.com/), which is based in the latest Ubuntu LTS.

However, I'm not sure if you are looking more of a distro that is based on the interface of 10.04 Lucid Lynx. For example, traditional menus, a lower bar for managing your open windows, etc (basically a Gnome 2.x style).

If so, take a look at Cinnamon Mint (http://cinnamon.linuxmint.com/).

Also note that the incoming 12.04 release will have a way of 'converting' the interface as the one on 10.04 (read about it here (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/03/gnome-classic-in-ubuntu-12-04-its-like-nothing-ever-changed/)).

Hope that helps.
Regards.

If you want a version of 10.04 accept no substitutes. Support for 10.04.4 ends in April 2013.

If it's just the Unity inteface you are not happy with in the newer versions, take a look at this: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/03/gnome-classic-in-ubuntu-12-04-its-like-nothing-ever-changed/
