Startup program

I try bootup manager to stop some programs like bluetooth , golden dictionary , messenger , but the program still start when I startuo my PC

I use kubuntu 11.10

I don't think Boot-Up Manager works on upstart jobs. More info here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/19320/whats-the-recommend-way-to-enable-disable-services
You probably should read through the whole thread before making any big changes.

Edit: Have you checked System Settings, Startup and Shutdown, Service Manager?
