Hi forum,
I am looking to secure large amounts of helium gas for an eccentric personal project, involving a large zeppelin which is currently under construction...
Does anybody know the best price of helium and any suppliers?
I would like between 50,000 and 90,000 litres of the stuff.
Thank you,
Gary

You'll get much better answers to this question if you drop a couple of hints about where on this great big Earth you're located ;)

Why not just Google for a few local suppliers and ring round for quotes?

Ah :( I thought you where trying to do extreme extreme over-clocking :(

But I have to wonder how much success you imagine you will have asking a question like this on a forum like this?!

Here is a start for you:

I am also curious about the degree of "eccentricity" involved in this "project!:p

****EDIT***

these prices are from 5 years ago , so be prepared for a shock when you get a quote!!

UK or Europe http://www.amazon.co.uk/Disposable-Helium-Tank-Canister-balloons/dp/B003S5HPH0/ref=pd_cp_k_h_b_cs_0/275-4689187-9385040

So im sure you can get it anywhere in many sizes at many prices ;-)

which at $60 or so for 15+- cubic feet canisters which is about 420 litres, i am guessing you better be rich or the project will make you lots of money ;-)

is that to fill a 50,000 L ballon? you might need to work out the pressure you need, as 50,000L at pressure will require more helium than 50,000L at atmospheric pressure. And 1L of liquid helium will fill a lot of ballon once it is a gas.

if you are in the UK maybe look up BOC
