I want to transfer data from my computer to the mobile phone I bought today. It is the latest model from Sony Ericsson.

I clicked the blootooth icon on my computer. I got the following message:
No Bluetooth adapters have been found.
What does the above mean?

How do I transfer files from computer to the mobile phone using Bluetooth in Kubuntu?

First you have to turn on Bluetooth on your phone, then tell it to advertise the device. Now place the phone near to the computer to ensure that they'll be within range of each other. Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the Kubuntu panel and choose "Browse Devices". It should detect your phone. If you place your cursor over the device's name in "Known Devices" you'll see a Browse Device option. Clicking that will open Dolphin with the phone's Bluetooth-visible folders displayed.

That said, I still have problems navigating the folders on my phone. Some files show up, and some don't. I'm not sure why this is yet, and it may just be a "feature" of my phone (a Samsung SGH-A777). I can send pictures from the phone to the computer with Bluetooth, but browsing has problems.

Thanks Seiji

No it is dead.
I did the same thing with my Windows 7 laptop. It worked fine.
It worked like a duck to a water.
Why didn't it work in Kubuntu?
