i have a eveready model 108, (ge pr-13 bulb)

im seeking a led/resistor pre packaged bulb for something like this.... i like the idea of zillions of hours of bright clean light.

this 6 volt lantern's been good to me so far, and mines in much much better condition than that picture, but it kinda chews on the batteries.

i have found 3 led lanterns new at the local drug store that were 6 volt. however i like mine better, somewhere said its water proof, floats, possibly self cleaning switch. its old from the 80s/90s

you can get the same deal new i guess....

i walked to lowes, and they had LED flashlight bulb upgrades. i had to re wire the battery to make the + terminal the center. little bit of solder. this is mine, with a new LED bulb. i got another for my 70's rayovac sportsman. no modding required ;-) the sportsman is nice, its got a 3 position switch; off, off/w button on, and on. its got a button for morse code.
