I don't really have favourite anythings, but I've seen some good moving pictures in my time.

We saw 12 Angry Men quite recently, which was excellent. The problem with top film/music/whatever lists, is that they are dominated by people's short-term memory.

Usually I say Bladerunner, but it's more complicated than that.

Other favorites are Gattaca, The Maltese Falcon, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

(500 Days of) Summer used to be up there, but I watched Annie Hall last night and realized that (500 Days of) Summer pretty much ripped off the snarky off-beat take on romantic comedy.

Top 3...
Forbidden Planet
Vanishing Point (original, not the remake)
The Day The Earth Stood Still (again, the original)

Vanishing Point is the one with the guy driving a Dodge Challenger across the country.

I have a lot, but the ones I always go back to watch are:
- Donnie Darko
- Good Will Hunting
- Every Quentin Tarantino movie
- From Dusk Till Dawn (I suppose you can include this in the above list as Tarantino wrote it and acted in it, just did not direct it)

I am also a big fan of horror movies, but I am too lazy to list all my favourites (there was another thread on this a while back).

Good movies, assuming you are talking about the old Gone in 60 seconds... please god tell me you knew there was and old one...

Inception was sort of **** on a bit when it first came out, probably because expectations were set so high, but I enjoyed this movie quite a lot. For whatever reason I thought about this movie for days after I watched it, which rarely happens after watching a movie. So for that, it ranks pretty damn high with me. Always thought Leonardo DiCaprio was one of the better actors out there as well... in terms of actual talent.

Good choice! I think they gave away too much at the ending, but it's a really good flick.

I didn't think it was nearly as good as people said it was. Great concept and look to the movie, but fell short in many other aspects (and overall just plan boring).

movies starring kevin spacey or keanu reeves or maybe jhonny depp...also.... i think you kan choose a movie to watch 90minutes...only by knowing the actor that plays in the movie....usually it works....of course not 100%....but for me some 70%...I guess...
