I was trying to partition myflashdrive so that I could have two partitions, one for my laptop, and one for school computers. Linux would recognise both partitions, but Windows wouldn't recognise the FAT or NTFS partition (I tried twice, once with EXT3 and FAT, and once with EXT3 and NTFS). Any suggestions?

I think Windows only sees the first partition on a flash drive. Did you do ext3 & FAT or FAT & ext3?

FAT was second. Ill try this later, and ill let you know how it goes. Thanks.,

Why not make the whole USB 1 fat32 partition ? Then both will see it.

Or is there a more specific reason for the 2 partitions ?

Well, it's part a learning experience, and part just for the hell of it/organizational purposes.
