Hi there,
I have spent hours over the last few days trying to get latex to compile Korean/Hangul. I have Korean language installed on the laptop. I can switch easily between english/korean by pressing ctrl+space.
I have installed numerous latex korean packages. In latex preamble, I include \usepackage{hangul} or \usepackage{hfont}.
When I type in Korean, it compiles into Chinese(I think). I doesn't do this with any apparent consistency, one Korean letter might be two Chinese syllables.
Please someone help! I am using Ubuntu11.10, and use Gummi or Texmaker for latex.
Brian
