I'm having problems using the alternate installer on my Lenovo B570. When it boots from the thumb drive, the text is scattered all over the screen and I can't read anything. If I use the arrow keys to navigate, I see movement, but the text is still scattered. The normal desktop and server ISOs work just fine. I tried alternate installers from 10.04 to 12.04 and they all have scattered text.
Anyone know what's up with that?
I need to use the alternate installer to get an encrypted LVM.
