Hello, using Lubuntu 11.10 recently installed as an upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04

1. Does it need a firewall? Which firewall would you recommend from the Synaptic Package Manager?

2. Tried Print Screen and alt print screen, cannot find a print screen function.

3. I cannot find the wastebasket, should there be an icon?

Please help with the above, thanks, Rollerworld.

You can use GUFW which will be in the Software Centre or use

sudo apt-get install gufw in the terminal

try doing ALT + Print Screen for a screenshot

and 100% honest answer, I don't know about the trash icon!!!

Hope this is of some help.

I'm sure someone will give you a more useful answer soon though!

Printscreen works, it puts a screenshot in your home folder-they're working on a screenshot applications.

Trash can be found in PcManFM, on the side bar.

Depending on your position, I would question whether you *need* a firewall-but that's opening a whole new can of worms-if you feel you need one, install one. :)

And hey, winh8r, you're always useful. ;)
