VLC behaving oddly ...

Help!

When I use VLC it comes up as a huge window filling my screen and I have a really hard time sizing it to my liking. When I close it and open it again it's as huge!

Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts!

The video you are playing probably comes in a high resolution. Try pressing Ctrl + J to see that info. In any case, you could do the following:

- press Shift + Z when the video opens up - this will zoom out the video and you can then resize it to your liking

and/or:

- go to Tools -> Preferences -> Interface and uncheck "Resize interface to video size". This will prevent the video from adjusting the window size
