I'm new to Ubuntu (11.10 installed using Wubi) and after a couple of weeks of use, just love it. I've had a few challenges but there's lots of great info here and I've been able to correct most issues.
The one I can't resolve is with Skype. I know it's a bit wanky in general at the moment. I'm using the latest version along with the Skype Wrapper. When I start Skype, all is well and no issues. I can access the popup menu for options, change my status etc., with or without using the wrapper. However, after I do this once or twice, the popup menu button becomes non-functional and I can't access the menu. All other functions work. I've uninstalled and re-installed Skype several times and the same thing occurs.
Otherwise, I can make a voice call. My webcam isn't working but I'm not worried about that right now :)
Any thoughts and/or advice on how to fix "the button" issue would be appreciated.
