Hi all

Unfortunatly I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to Linux.

I want to try this Reaver 1.4 cracking WPA software, which works with Ubuntu. I've installed the Backtrack 5 R2 on a virtual machine in Virtualbox on a Macbook Air OSX host.
Due to the VM, it's not possible to use the internal Intel wifi for Reaver - this is why I have a USB wifi adapter.

I've read lots of article regarding wifi drivers in general - but haven't figured out the problem.

First of all: I'm not sure that Ubuntu in VirtualBox actually sees the USB device, since "lsusb" or "lshw" doesn't reveal the device. It seems like Lion OSX interrupts the device, and won't let it go.

Second, I cannot install the drivers. Either driver from Asus, Realtek or any other. There's always some error that prevent the installation to finish succesful.

Any solutions to the above issues is much appreciated.

I'm also avalible on Skype/MSN if needed.
