Hi

Using gnome 3.2 with 11.10
After changing wallpaper the screen look like the attachment. Try to play with display but not helping. xrand not help too.

Could you help please any idea is welcome

I can't help with your problem, sorry, but you will get more help if you use descriptive thread titles in future. This one is very vague and many will skip over it. ;)

PS: Looks like your desktop wallpaper is set to 'tiling' rather than 'scaled' or 'stretch'. Right clicking on the desktop and going to the desktop settings doesn't change anything???

Open Keyboard > Shortcuts > System and enable the command prompt using Alt + F2 as the shortcut.

Open the command prompt and restart the shell using the following.
