keytouch-editor but not keytouch?

I just installed ubuntu 11. I'm having some problems with my media keys. Someone said that keytouch works great in those cases. However, apt-get found keytouch-config but there was no keytouch program. I configured some keys on my keyboard and saved, but the keys I defined are not working.

Am I missing something? How does keytouch launch? How do I determine if keytouch itself is loaded?

I think keytouch doesn't support kernel 3.X.X
