Hello Everyone.

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat), And I am trying to get Aero Glass to work. I have tried what is on this page:
http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/ubuntu-tips-and-tricks.htm#Set-Aero-Glass-Effect

but it doesn't seem to work. All I am trying to do is get where the 'decoration' bit on the windows and firefox is, from black to slightly transparent. However, the Laptop I am using is quite old. I will give the spec: Intel Celeron M 1.4Ghz, 763mb RAM, 40Gb HDD, Intel GMA 855 32mb GFX.

'ANY' Help on how to do this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks - Mark

AFAIK with those specs, you won't be able to run Compiz, so those effects wlll not be available. Your graphics card simply isn't powerful enough.
