Hi everyone,

I want to change the icons of the workspace switcher and the rubbish bin. I'm using the default "Ubuntu mono dark" icon theme, with my own personalised launchers (see image). I know it's possible to change the icons for these two things, but I haven't managed it yet, after a lot of tinkering with the icon theme's files. I believe I'm using Unity.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have done it with Awoken and Faenza icons , but not with Ubuntu icons. They are setup in a different way and I can't locate the icons . If I try the search tool I get over 500 results for trash including applet,.xml and .png

Yeah, I've also tried taking alternative themes and replacing everything, but it hasn't worked.

You can copy the icon that you want to /usr/share/icons/***(***is your icon theme in settings)
