I've followed the Ubuntu Installation Guide (In the Android Market)
My Device: (needless to say my phone is rooted and has busybox)
=================================================
Samsung Galaxy S2 + 32GB SD Card
Criskelo ROM v38 :
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.14-Siyah v2.6.6+gm@ubuntu#161
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.XWKL1
Android Version: 2.3.6
Model Number: GT-I9100
=================================================

1.Downloaded the Large Image extracted and placed it under:
/sdcard/external_sd/ubuntu/
2.Downloaded the boot script and extract it to the same folder as above.
3.Ran the "sh ubuntu.sh" as root
4.entered the screen resolution : 800x480
5.pressed (1) for GUI interface
6.it says started something... and after 10 seconds my whole phone is hanged.
7.I can only reset from here and start over...

What can be the issue ? Did anyone managed to install it on the samsung galaxy s2 ? it does fit all the requirements .. or am i wrong ?

Thanks
Idan

I think the your phone's screen resolution is 480x800.
Are you putting it in correct format that is width x Length?
