View Full Version : [ubuntu] Cannot updgrade - need apt-cdrom help

I tried using apt-cdrom, but I couldn't figure out what the command arguments should be.

W:Failed to fetch cdrom://Ubuntu 11.10 _Oneiric Ocelot_ - Release amd64 (20111012)/dists/oneiric/main/binary-i386/Packages Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT. apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs

If you donīt want to install something from CD go to the Ubuntu software center>edit>software repositories and uncheck CD as repository.Reload and try to update again.
