How do I install GRUB onto the root partition using the alternate installer? I'm trying to do a net install of 64 bit 10.04 LTS on a mac
I need GRUB on the root partition because the mac uses EFI and I read that installing GRUB elsewhere will mess up the EFI

Thanks for pointing me there, mastablasta. I guess I assumed that the GRUB install settings would be somehow tied to the partition editor, <facepalm>.
I installed GRUB onto the 3rd partition (ext4 mounted as "/").
Thanks.
